Summary

Nic Gregoriades is a martial artist and spiritual explorer from Cape Town, South Africa. In 2003 he moved to London to earn his black belt in Jiu Jitsu. There he founded the popular martial arts community, The Jiu Jitsu Brotherhood and became the first person to be awarded the black belt by the legendary Roger Gracie.

In late 2012 he took a trip to the amazon to drink the sacred plant medicine, Ayahuasca, which profoundly affected his world view and caused him to drastically change his life path. He now travels the world teaching Jiu Jitsu, studying yoga and learning about the human experience.

The lifestyles that we live can be so consuming and so overwhelming to the point that we become stressed, burnt out and less effective in life. Actually, such situations can force many of us to give up pursuing our dreams. If you are feeling overwhelmed or feeling like you are about to get swarmed by a busy and chaotic week you’ll enjoy this thought and practical advice.

Here is what I have learnt. Firstly, I believe that we have to keep those things that are important to us within our schedule. When we are busy it is easy to cancel these things first but these things are the fuel to keep us alive. I also believe that in these times when things become even busier than normal it is a great opportunity to cull the rubbish that has infiltrated our schedule. Keep the good and dispose of the bad.
